For the local quilt guild challenge we were supposed to incorporate a traditional corn and beans pattern block. I decided to make a small quilt with one block of the pattern. The other ladies who participated all used subtle colors of brown (and some used some light blue) for background blocks with stunning applique pictures and/or borders. They were awesome!

Mine has bright color and looks very agrarian! Do you think a young boy might like it?

I think it is beautifully done. Most small boys I know are not too keen on floral prints, but if he is discerning he may get past that.

I like you choice of colors and doing one block makes a lot of impact!

I think it is Beautiful! I also think the colors are very boyish( they do tend to like greens) The quiltng is very nice as well. As others have said. If you can't find a boy to take it, I will.... :thumbup:
