Never seen it before but it looks interesting. Is it really "50 times faster than other methods"? I'm always open to anything to help.

I found this in my grandma's stash and have never seen it before in the stores. I'm wondering where she got it from...she and I use to go fabric shopping together and I don't remember her every buying it....so I'm guessing that someone must have given it to her.

I have it!

i tend to steer clear of complicated rulers. my brain just doesn't want to think that much. although this one does'nt look too bad.

LOL...I agree with you on that...that's why I haven't opened it yet. I'm wondering if I would ever use it. Looks kind of difficult to use, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone that has actually used the ruler and seeing what comments they have about it.

Maybe it is a useful tool...time will tell.

Sorry don't have it but does look interesting, and like it might save time, do the instructions start with cut a strip, trim one side slide down and cut the other end.

frugalfabrics 02-19-2011 04:46 PM

I haven't opened it to look at the directions, but it looks like you would cut a strip and then slice and "x" and move the ruler down and cut and move and cut...

I think I'm gonna have to open it up and give it a try...I don't have any hexagon or diamond projects in mind right now, but I could probably conjur up a 60 degree angle project right quick.

jojosnana 02-19-2011 04:49 PM

I don't even want to think about making all those shapes,,,,I will spend the $60 on fabric.

sharin'Sharon 02-19-2011 06:17 PM

I haven't seen this particular ruler, but it appears to have cutting slots, similar to the straight line cutting of Shape Cut by June Taylor, and that isn't a really cheap ruler either. I think it should be a 'keeper'.
