I finally finished the doggie quilt that i started in March. The baby has already arrived and I would like to pesent the quilt this week to her. I made a pillowcase with leftover fabric that fits the travel pillow that Walmart sells. I wrapped the quilt in it and tied it with a bow. this is the first time that i have done this, but it won't be the last! I really like the presentation and it was easier than trying to get it in a gift bag with tissue paper-i always end up ripping it!

Thanx everyone. I had fun making it and the parent run a doggie daycare. When I heard that the baby was a girl, since I had already purchased the fabric, I added the red ric rac. All the fabric cAme from Joanns and the pattern from an easy baby quilt book. -
I'm going to do the pillowcase/presentation thing from now on-it's too fun!!!!!
