I haven't made one for a dog but I've made BIG ones with 6 poles for stepkids when they were small and for my own when she was. They were made with 8 ft poles. After getting them put together I put acrylic paint on styrofoam plates. Then I had them press their hands in the paint and then press their hands on the fabric. It was great fun, we did it in the yard and people were stopping their cars to watch.

Adorable tent! Sorry to hear that your little fur baby isn't doing to well right now.

That is so cute. Maybe I can make one for DGD dog. I'm sorry she isn't doing well. Hope things get better soon.

Cute and I hope your little dog is feeling better soon. Seventeen years of age is a long time and how wonderful to be loved all those years. I sew for our local Humane Society and make quilted mats for the cages of cats and dogs. People often donate blankets that we can cut up and use. Nothing like a wet nose or purr to say Thanks.

Don't have a dog. but do have several cats who would love to play it there. Years and years ago, I made one child- size for my kids that they used to play cowboys and indians in out in the back yard. thanks for bringing back some great memories.

It says 3 3/8 yds for one version and 2 1/2 for the other. It didn't matter to me as I used all different dog fabrics...I had also made a dog quilt for one of my favorite sons (friend of my son).

My little Tinker will not get better. She is skin and bones right now but she is not crying or in pain or anything. She is blind and deaf but still hanging in there, so I just let her be...she look so forward to her dinner...
