Can't wait for it to hit the stores. Lovely.

juliea9967 02-23-2011 05:55 AM

Wow! It is beautiful. I would love some of all of those fabrics, AND the tablerunner kit.

Rntraveler 02-23-2011 05:58 AM

It's beautiful... love the dogwoods.

rilene 02-23-2011 06:03 AM

What?!!! We have to wait until July! These prints are gorgeous!

Diana R 02-23-2011 06:03 AM

I just love all of the fabrics. They are truely beautiful. I can't wait until they are available for sale. I will ask my local quilt shop to order them. Thanks for giving us a sneek peak!

neeng 02-23-2011 06:15 AM

Beautiful. I especially like the ones with the blue background, I think the contrast really sets off the flowers.

Betty Lee 02-23-2011 06:53 AM

I like the charm packs, half assortments, page 5-porcelain
and page 7-leaf. Great selection and beautiful colors.

Yooper32 02-23-2011 06:59 AM

Page 5, Porcelaine I love the delicate flowers on the white background and with the leaf color included.

tealady 02-23-2011 07:00 AM

I love them! Let us know when you get them in stock.

Dkm 02-23-2011 07:11 AM

Love it. Don't know if it's because of the bad winter, but I thought I felt a summer breeze while looking. lol

gmaybee 02-23-2011 07:34 AM

I think I like the pink and white backgrounds. They are beautiful fabrics.

tinliz 02-23-2011 08:10 AM

Thought the price on the table runner was too good to be true.
Love the collection.
I traveled through the several southern states at a time when the dogwoods were blooming. Have always wanted to go back. I may have to break my fabric moratorium when this fabric arrives on the market. Fabric should be less than a trip and I would have the quilt all year!

Thea 02-23-2011 08:18 AM

These are beautiful. Love them all. Can't wait for them to come out.

bettysew 02-23-2011 09:04 AM

They are all gorgeous. I will definitely get them.

Rann 02-23-2011 09:06 AM

Gorgeous. I love dogwood and it is soooo hard to find any that ate true colors. Living in the deep south, I am partial to dogwoods that look like dogwoods.

Favorite Fabrics 02-23-2011 09:18 AM

And these DO look real. I wish we could consistently have our dogwoods bloom here in NY; if we are lucky we will get bloom two years out of three. Sometimes the buds freeze over the winter.

dphelps 02-23-2011 09:49 AM

This is a beautiful line. I like the blossoms but the accent fabric is beautiful - in all colors.

Baglady1546 02-23-2011 09:57 AM

They are all beautiful and I'm not usually a flowery person

amandasgramma 02-23-2011 09:58 AM

beautiful!!! I'll be looking for that!

Favorite Fabrics 02-23-2011 10:30 AM

Those of you who are feeling tempted by this collection...

How many different fabrics would you buy from this group?

Would you buy the large dogwood print in more than one colorway?

mimee4 02-23-2011 10:39 AM

Exquisite. This is fabric that I WILL purchase. Gorgeous.

KathyKat 02-23-2011 11:04 AM

Wow! I like the whole line! I love all of the 4 first shown. Then for the half assortment; Row 1...the whole row, Row2...#3, Row3...#2, Row 4...#3. I will probably buy from this assortment . I especially love the shade of green used.

Kate01 02-23-2011 11:13 AM

Love them all! Wish I could buy them today. :(

Kappy 02-23-2011 11:31 AM

Ohhhhh, and I have been so good about not buying more fabric! I feel a relapse coming on! LOL

nena 02-23-2011 11:38 AM

I really like the pinks, I love dogwoods, it's our state flower. I have several trees in my yard.

karenpatrick 02-23-2011 12:19 PM

This line just confirms why Moda is my favorite fabric company. My fav are the green leaves.

sunkistmi 02-23-2011 12:20 PM

Oh, these are SO beautiful. I want them all and the runner kit. Now how do I make myself remember to watch for them when they come out? Pretty, pretty, pretty.

I would probably buy a layer cake and a jelly roll.

peabee 02-23-2011 01:13 PM

Blue's quilting mama 02-23-2011 01:30 PM

You sure do find some beautiful fabrics to tempt us! That dogwood and coordinating materials is so pretty!

olebat 02-23-2011 02:30 PM

Oh, goodness. Trying to think like a buyer on this one is difficult. I'm at a disadvantage, not knowing your target market. However, I'm keeping in mind that you do ship into my area. After printing the line and laying them out on the floor, then stepping back, I could focus better, and all manner of block patterns started popping into my head.

The half assortment doesn't capture the entire essence. The porcelain looks lost until paired with any of the other colors, then it really blooms. Pinks and greens have always been good combinations, and blue is a workhorse color in this area. My melt down was between the two pinks. I like the stronger, but then I was never a soft girlie type for flowers. Many of my friends go for the softer look. I even went to the studio and brought down some Dogwood Bliss and plopped it down in the middle of the Moda collection. (Blank Quilting 2008 - has black background, the blossoms are natural colored with pinkie/peach highlights, which are also picked up in the multi greens of the leaves.) It was compatible with all of the Moda. This fabric line screams baby blankets for boys and girls, teen and new family quilts, table toppers and quilted runners, curtains and casserole covers, home decor and even worked into a pet wardrobe. I can envision fashion design . . .

Finally, instead of trying to pick as a buyer, I made a personnel choice. I cut the soft pink, Blossom. I just couldn't cut any more. I think the designer should get an award for this line. I don't envy you in this decision. The pics, now that I have them printed, are going on the wall. By the time the fabrics hit the store here, I may know exactly what I want and how much to get. Better yet, I'll take them to guild tomorrow and see if the local buyers have made their decisions yet. Good Luck!!

barnbum 02-23-2011 02:32 PM

Oh--love them!!!

This preview is SO fresh that the collection isn't even on Moda's site yet for shops to place their orders yet. This collection is supposed to be shipping in July.

I would love to know what prints you all like best... so please take a peek!

Are you kidding??? How can anyone choose??? They are all too beautiful. Together they are breath taking.

G'ma Kay 02-23-2011 02:49 PM

these are right up my alley! I would start with the large print, white background and mix in the smaller petal print with the green leafy tonals. That's what would go in my cart.

CindyinNY 02-23-2011 05:10 PM

Love, love, love them all!!!!!!!! I just have to have some of these prints! Wish they were coming out earlier though, by the time we can get them and make something it could be fall.
Well, I'm speaking about my slow self here. lol Of course, then it would be nice having something so springy to work on all next winter too.

wisconsin 02-23-2011 05:12 PM

Beautiful fabrics

Debbied 02-23-2011 05:54 PM

My choice is page 6 and 7 the green make the pink flower look like they are coming off the background.
