I found many little 3" squares I had started ages ago..not sure what I was going to make...well today I decided to make them into a doll quilt for my grandmothers doll bed..it is about 100+ yrs old...I will add borders and maybe just tie it and use flannel inside so it won't be too stiff...not all of it is sewn yet in this pic but I thought I'd show it now...will show another pic when I am done

Now I really like this. It's "traditional," scrappy, just right.
In fact, this would make a fabulous larger quilt too. But I like it best for the doll quilt. I would love to see what you do with borders etc for this little quilt. |
