Me too...hoop skirt! I thought Don had become Scarlette! When I h/q w/hoop I just baste a strip of muslin to edge of top and adjust in hoop....learn something new every day!

Jan, I about died laughing. Great minds think alike. Sure made me check it out. I still don't know what you do with it but I am sure that will be explained in later replies.

It reminds me of my years of doing embroidery and I would put a piece of muslin over the worked area to keep it clean on the edges of the hoop while I held it. Not the same thing, just a memory.

This looks like it would work better than the half hoop I purchased several years ago. Daffy Daphne would you please post a tutorial on how you did this. I absolutely love it and Don it looks great & like many others I could not think of what a hoop skirt was, I was a teenager in the fifties when girls wore hoops.
