1st off, I've changed my profile, when I post a message/pictures, etc.. I have a picture of my grdaughter, and her father/my son. I'm going to post 3 pictures. 1 is a picture with a blue star in the center, that, I will be working on for me.. The 2nd picture, is of the same pattern , but in different colors for the lady that does my machine quilting on my quilts for me. The 3rd picture, is of a quilt called Dizzy geese, is 1, that I did 5-6 years ago, and I cant find it.. I dont remember if I give it away, or what I did with it.. Anyhow, I dont know, what I should be called, but I've got 3 quilts going on at a time. Am I loosing it (ha-ha).. Don-isewman

This is a picture, of the quilt for me, I posted 2-3 weeks ago.. All of the peices, are ready to be pinned together, to sew, as blocks..

This is the same block, as my blue center star one. All the peices, are cut out, now its just getting each section sewed together to put it together as a block..

Love the blue one, you have excellent points, thanks for sharing, always in need of new quilt squares for scraps!

omak 04-30-2010 06:44 PM

I like that blue one ... and, you are correct!
Changing the colors definitely changed the look.
I must really like the flying goose block because that is one attractive presentation of them.

Now, I have a question ... how is it, that if we are constantly trying to use up our scraps, that we don't actually have a quilt that isn't scrappy? I don't know if there is anything wrong with you, but I am beginning to suspect that us scrap quilters are a bit unbalanced! LOL <wave>

Those are all pretty cool! I especially like the 3rd one with the flying geese.

Very pretty all three, and three quilts on the go all at once, I am amazed, I can only think of one at a time Lol!
But I do dream up future quilts before I go to sleep!

Love them all!

reneebobby 05-01-2010 03:13 AM

very nice don, isn't if funny how just changing the colors of fabric, adding more colors or less how the block takes on a completely different look. I just find that fasinating.

sewaholic 05-01-2010 04:12 AM

Are you sure you got the name of the book right ??
Dosen't look like it would be very quick to me.
All your blocks are lovely.

ChristineD 05-01-2010 04:20 AM

Love your blocks, but is the one set of geese supposed to be facing the opposite direction as all the other sets?

littlehud 05-01-2010 06:26 PM

Wow, I love them all. What great blocks. But you always do a wonderful job. I'm always glad to see what you post. Thanks for sharing.
