I absolutely love this..what an amazing way to use those pillow cases - and such a lovely tribute to those ladies ! i remember sitting in the evening watching my Mom embroider our pillow cases - every one we had was embroidered - and it's only now looking back that i realize just how special that was. i have several tucked away in my cedar chest...which i am now tempted to use thanks to your clever idea.
