I started a queen size a year ago & am down to @ 20 flowers left to put on. I can't wait to finish it! I'm not close enough to the end to decide on how to quilt it.

I love GFG quilts above all others and yours is gorgeous. When I was very young, I spent summers with my Grandmother and slept under her GFG quilt. Years later when she died, my aunt claimed that quilt. It turns out that everyone in the family loved it. When I finally retired, I wandered into a quilt shop one day and saw one hanging there. The owner showed me how to cut and piece it by hand and it became my portable quilt project for a year. I learned to hand quilt, so I could complete it just like Grandma's. Everytime I look at it, I smile and think of her. I think it is the happiest quilt pattern of them all. Your DGD will no doubt also cherish this labor of love. I wish you could find time to handquilt it, but maybe echo quilt it--I did that on a patriotic GFG I did for soldiers of valor.

I love to do paper piecing, it is relaxing in the evenings or you can take a few and do them while waiting at the drs., other appointments or while a passenger on a trip I love your little crib quilt and I am sure it was worth all the time and effort you put into it. Great job.
