Done at last!

I volunteered to make quilts for my DIL's mothers grandchildren a year ago and finally finished them and they are in the mail! She wanted them to be "girl colors" and using the same fabrics, and different patterns. The third gchild arrived last week, so, on to his! Thanks for looking!

Great baby quilts. Love the fabric and block choices. Pretty neat how you threw in a box randomly. I don't know what that block is, sorry.

Darcyshannon 12-18-2018 10:23 PM

I think the girls will get a kick out of them being made with some of the same fabrics. How sweet to share your gift in this way.

As someone who makes Project Linus quilts I love these....what a perfect way to use up so many of my scraps in children's prints. Especially love the X quilt...was this your own design or did you use a pattern?? I'm going to print out your pictures and hang on my bulletin board...hope you don't mind.

Innov8R 12-19-2018 07:13 AM

How good of you to do the Project Linus quilts! Someday when I run out of family quilts to make, I plan to start doing some of them and will need to find out all about that! Thanks for the nice comments on my quilts! You are so welcome to the ideas! The idea for the x one came from the tutorial on the Missouri Star quilts You Tube channel called "All My X's". It would be a perfect scrappy!

Thanks everyone for looking and for your nice comments!

Such cute quilts and love the cheery fabrics you used.

Vasilisa 12-22-2018 01:35 PM

They are so cute with all those pastels. And I love how you "broke" the monotony of windmills with those squares :)

pchp 01-07-2019 05:44 PM
