Way cool!!!

MadQuilter 03-18-2011 10:45 AM

I'd make her another one for at least $40. $20 to recoup the first one, and whatever else for the second one.

klgreene 03-18-2011 10:49 AM

Yep I'd make her another one, but I'd charge her $40. $20 for the first and $20 for the second. I think that's just terrible that she sold something that you gifted to her. She could have told that person that she would ask you if you would make another one for $20.

Tink's Mom 03-18-2011 10:52 AM

Charge her...but don't start it till you have the money in hand...

bbquilter 03-18-2011 10:53 AM

Tragic, not many folks understand how long it takes to create sewn items.

earlylace 03-18-2011 11:16 AM

I think she owes you $20 and $20 for the next one.

GGinMcKinney 03-18-2011 11:21 AM

Nah, wouldn't make her another one or anything else. A friend would have discussed it with you and considered your feelings. If you are to make anything else I would determine if it was for her to sell, if yes I would expect a % of the take. Seriously, I would not even enter into that arrangement with this person.

kso 03-18-2011 11:40 AM

Nope.

But offer to teach her how to make one and then she will appreciate the time it takes!.

stichinluvr 03-18-2011 12:05 PM

Charge her to recoup the first and more than pay for the second. Make sure you have CASH in hand before starting!

Mariposa 03-18-2011 12:11 PM

Nope! No way. She should be giving you that money. If she wants another, then pay up front. Better yet, have her give referrals for you~
