This is what I've been working on (more like 'slaving on') for the past several months. There will be a total of 144 of these 8" log cabin blocks all paper pieced. As you can see, I've put 7 of the 12 rows together, all pressed and paper removed - put it up on the design wall and... Almost cried! In spite of paper piecing, I've never had to do so much seam ripping in my life. This is one project I will be glad to finish!!!

Ooooohhhh....that one hurt! I feel your pain! It's a beautiful quilt though - worth it in the end......Good luck!

Beautiful

You may be glad to see it done ... and will be proud of the results and know the extra effort it took to do it right, was more than worthwhile.

WOW! That even looks complicated. Are you going to reset that block? Or is that impossible at this stage?
It is a very gorgeous quilt!

I understand your pain. Recently speed through seeming three quilts panels and borders to get them done in time for a long-arm class. I had previously spent many years of maticulous point matching and am now contemplating take the small amount of to quilting and all basting out to fix my rushed mistakes.

I know how frustrated you must be but I have to admit I kind of like it the way it is now.

I feel your pain. :(
If you use a straight razor blade, you can cut the thread and it goes a little quicker. I prefer that over a seam ripper.

Well, at least you didn't quilt it yet! It is really beautiful.

I'm sorry for you though, but wow, what a fab quilt! :)
