Double Four-Patch top is finished
 

Here is the latest top I finished. It's Double Four-Patch from Judy Hopkins' book The Big Book of Patchwork. I now have four tops that need quilting. I haven't even touched my long arm since I got home in early April, what with spring garden, house and boat work to do. I have promised myself that I would spend as much time as possible re-familiarizing myself with the machine and computer programs this week. It's supposed to be hot and humid, so it's a good time to spend indoors.

That's just beautiful. Were most or all of your fabrics from the same collection/line? They coordinate so well but there's still such a nice variety in there...

GEMM, the fabrics were all left over from other quilts I have made. They were not a collection. The background fabric was one I bought on sale to use as a backing, but I decided to make this pattern instead with all the teal fabric scraps I had.

Lois, that's a great quilt. You've inspired me to get back to quilting. I have one of those coffee table books of quilting with lots of gorgeous photos. It's Living with Quilts by Phyllis George. On the cover is a great pink and white patchwork. It's some iteration of an Irish Chain. I decided to copy your design in pink and white. I started collecting pink fat quarters yesterday.
