My uncle asked me to make this quilt for his grandson last summer. I just got around to making it recently, even though I bought the fabric for it in late summer
I plan to quilt it by tracing different sports themes into the blank blue spaces and quilting on the lines, and then just cross-hatch through the chains. The quilt is about 60" square, I think that's big enough for a child's quilt... ETA: Ok, the colours are pretty bright in real life, neon print on black for the colourful print, and the green is a lot more lime-green than it looks in the pic. Also, I haven't properly ironed this quilt yet, so it looks really wavy, but once I iron and quilt it, it should be fine :) |
I so admire your precision!!

I think your uncle's GS will love it,especially once you get the sports themes quilted onto it. Great job.
