Finally finished: Double Nine-Patch in black and white cherry print fabrics. This king size quilt is quilted all over with cherries (sent to my favorite machine quilter of course). It was started in 2008 as a gift for my teenage son and made it all the way to sewing on the binding (yes in 2008). It was then neatly folded and put away. I just finished hand sewing the binding last month. The quilt is called Hi-Ho! Cherry-O after the classic childrens' game. We played constantly over the last few months, with the 3 year old always beating our pants off - the perfect name to capture our family moments.
