Double Wedding Ring just started

I just started this one for my oldest GD, have not done that much
as I have a hard time sewing the arcs in place with invisible thread.
It truly is invisible thread and I cant see it that well! Just noticed I
need to change the date on the camera.

It looks perfect to me - everything is lying flat and straight. Keep up the good work. Maybe a better light at your sewing area?

That is going to be beautiful! Will look forward to seeing the finished quilt!

Looks perfect. I know what you mean about the invisable thread, I gave up using it. Same for dark thread on dark fabric, I have to do that during the daylight hours.

Very pretty.

Are you appliquing the arcs down with invisible thread? It looks really nice but matching blue thread would probably work nicely too. I hate working with invisible thread!

That is going to be a very pretty quilt. I only use invisible thread occasionally for quilting if there are a lot of colors in the quilt.

I'm using the E. Burns method of making this quilt and you machine stitch the arcs in place with
invisible thread. I actually never gave any thoughts to using blue but I'm going to try it thank you for the tip.

I like this quilt, it is on my bucket list. I just never knew it could be done is just a few colors. Love it. Thanks for sharing and have a Happy New Year too.

I have been working on one for myself and I am sew impressed with what you shared. You are doing a great job. I am doing mine by hand so I can carry it around but it doesn't lie flat. I am making a rainbow one. I was at an Amish quilt auction and decided I had to have one.

You are off to a great start! How rewarding to have every block and complete row even. Look forward to seeing it done!
