We used both Hobbs 80/20 and Polyfill for the double batting....it really had A LOT of fullness! He wasn't sure if he could get it to all quilt out, but luckily it did. Christine |

A customer found this beautiful hand-pieced quilt top at a garage sale and rescued it. It had tons of fullness in it, so we needed to use 2 layers of batting in order to suck in that fullness. Backing is a beautiful sky blue Hoffman batik. Kevin custom quilt this (no computer on his Nolting Pro 24). I think it turned out really neat. Thanks for looking :)

The quilt is stunning. Love the scrappy colors too. I've always said I was going to make a double wedding ring. Maybe this will give me the inspiration I need. It's a beautiful quilt, and the quilting is gorgeous

Love this especially the the quilting!

What do you mean when you say "tons of fullness"? I don't recognize that term and can't figure out what it means. Sorry for the silly question that everyone else obviously understands. lol
