Draw 4 crayons and make a quilt using those colors challenge done!
 

Our guild had a crayon challenge that I posted about in the link below. I challenged myself to only use the colors in my stash.

I put simple shapes around the crayons as if a child drew them with crayons. My 4yr old great niece that loves to color will receive this colorful quilt.

Your quilt is cleverly designed and I know your niece will enjoy it. The guild I belong to did this as a challenge one year. The lesson we all learned was that any colors can be combined it you plan values carefully. It was fun.

Shapes around the Crayons
 

Hi Zozee! Thank you! Yes, this is my original design.

I needed something to fill the space around the crayons so I picked simple shapes...circle, square, triangle, rectangle, heart, popscicle, cat head, cherries and sunshine. The shapes show up well in person, but not so much in my photo.
I thought about quilting the Abc's in the border, but changed my mind. The sunshine is my favorite.

Ps. The rules for the challenge changed from choosing a block from the President's list to using or creating any block design you wish.
