These are so beautiful.

Those are fabulous. Is there a pattern for these and how you made them using the Dresdin Plate. Do you use border fabric? Full of questions! I want to make some. Thank you.

They're gorgeous. I'd frame them, not put a hot dish on them! They're that pretty.

Beautiful job! Your fabrics are great! Your work is marvelous!!

Those are just super.... love them. I think they would make wonderful Christmas presents for quilty friends. Oh no!! My mind is spinning with all the ideas. Thanks!

They look great, and I've been playing with the template you so generously sent me. Question for you – are you going to bind them or turn them? Thanks!

If I am sewing them onto a background I use the buttonhole stitch on my sewing machine. I use the stitch that is close together and go slowly so I cover the raw edge.
These are going to be hotpads. I use the birthing method and I turn them rt side out through the center hole. Then I sew on a flat yoyo. I top stitch it on. Since I wrote an ebook offered here on the Board on the Dresden Kaleidoscopes. I did a basic tute on how to make the DKs. http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...l-t252841.html I am thinking about doing a tute on how to make the DKs into hotpads. Maybe some time soon. |
They are too pretty to be pot holders. Love your fabric choices.
