Well, not my best work, that's for sure! I'm not going to rip it out tho

At 1st I had all the same color shades put together and couldn't arrange them very well, so hubby suggested I mix it up abit. I ripped them apart and started over with the plates. This is how it looks now.

Not sure what color the back or binding will be yet.

Does it look too bad?

I'm sorry, do you have the right picture posted? You said you mixed it up? I think mixing them up would look great!

 Yes, it's the right pic. What I mean't about mixing them up is originally, the plates were in all blues, yellows etc, one color plates. Now they are all of the colors in one plate.

Here they are before I mixed them up

Very pretty!!!

It looks great! For the binding, what if you pieced it with your leftovers? Or would that be too "casual" for the plates? I think it would be fun tho'!

It looks pretty the way it is. Great job!

Of course it doesn't look "too bad" It loooks just great! I haven't tackled that pattern yet..I like how you did yours. Of course, I like the way you had them originally too

Thanks, I struggled with this because I'm a match matchy person and this color scheme was way out of bounds for me.

The pattern itself was extremely easy tho.

Your quilt is great. I agree with the suggestion of using the leftovers for binding. You said that the pattern is very easy, would you mind sharing it. I am new to quilting. I have made two quilts already and want to tackle one for my bed.

Thanks

I get it now!

I think it's lovely! I look forward to more!

It's fantastic!
I agree with the others, make a border of the leftover scraps.

Purple

Your plates are so bright and cheerfull! I've done the dresdens and they really aren't that hard at all. I also like them done with a white background. Makes the whole quilt so "happy" looking!

Thanks so much

SO PRETTY, LOOKS VINTAGE. I CAN SEE WHY YOU NEEDED TO MIX IT UP. GREAT CHOICES
