Very pretty and I love the dresden plate. I am collecting fabric to make a dresden plate but mine will be thirties fabric

Thanks to all of you for the nice complimants on my quilt. I need to anwser a few questions. Tulip, I think I used 4 1/2 size for my plate. Crafty Linda, I do think it is called tumblers that I used for the border, however I made it about two inches wider then shows and I cut it down and starched real good because i was afraid it would turn out wavey. The size is about 90x 90. 16 blocks and 3 boarders and sashing. I have never handquilted so I don't know what to do. I have only sitched in the ditch and want more on this quilt. I am thinking about it. I have the backing ready and the label and still thinking. I am afraid to try and quilt it. What shal I do.? thanks again Suzanne

You've done a beautiful job so far. Take your time and hand quilt it. You can look at my great grandmother's that I posted here for ideas on the quilting. Don't push yourself. Just enjoy the journey. When you've finished, you will know how.
