NICE QUILT!!!
I definitely "mix" my fabric sources too. I use everything from WalMart to Joann Fabrics to LQS as well as on-line sources. When I want something really specific I know I can get it at my LQS; they've orders special things for me on several occassions, and I support them as far as my budget will allow. When I need service or am shopping for a machine, I will ALWAYS take my business there! Wendy |
Karyn knew Eastern Blue Birds are my absolute fav. They breed in our yard every spring. When she found the fabric, I was with her. I wanted to buy some of it too but didn't because she did and I didn't want to copy her. Little did I know she was buying it for me. I'm so grateful to have a friend like her.
There is a fabric on the WW website that has fruit and birds. It had the same feel as my blue bird fabric. |
It is gorgeous. Love the way you fussy cut the birds.
I e-mailed Walmart when they took fabric out of our local store and told them that now I am saving so much money not only on fabric but also that I don't go to Walmart as much and don't see other things and pick them up. So I told them thank you for taking it out. I wanted to impress on them that the fabric was what drew me in the store and that their sales had gone down because of it. |
Beautiful love the birdies.
