Hummm... I never thought about adding a few little DP's in the border. Something to seriously think about.

I love the way you incorporated two different sizes of blocks - what a great idea. And it looks very modern - which I am not but going to try to make a modern quilt. Thanks so much for your picture. Drunkard’s Path pattern has so many different ways to lay out the blocks - quilters could make them all the time and never repeat a layout.

Or the opposite. My go-to is a narrow light inner border and a dark outer one.
