DWR is Finished
3 Attachment(s)
My hubby has encouraged me to make a DWR since I started dragging him to quilt shows, years ago. I started this quilt over a year ago. During the process my hubby became very ill and I almost lost him. There were times that it was so difficult to work on this quilt that I was ready to give up. Other days it was my sanity. This quilt is in no way perfect. But it is a pure labor of love. It is based on the Egg Money Quilts DWR. The quilt is queen sized and was pieced and quilted on my Janome 6600. Hubby is on the road to much better health and a new normal and he loves the quilt. And is all that matters!

came out beautifully, I remember when i started to take my son to quilt shows when he was 3. He asked for a white on white and a DWR. So far, I made the white on white with scalloped borders. that DER is still waiting. So glad you got your done. it came out great.
