EAA Airventure quilt block
 

Every quilt show needs a beginner, & I'm it for this one. Just happy to have participated in this quilt block contest (my 1st). My dh, the pilot, flew us to Oshkosh WI for this great event a couple of weeks ago, and my block (bottom row, 2nd from left) is on display! Fun. It's my version of dh's plane, a Beechcraft Sundowner.

Love it! Isn't the EAA great? It's exciting no matter how often one goes.

Thanks for posting! MY DH is also a pilot and he goes to EAA Air Adventure every year. I need to ask him to take pics of the blocks. Super nice!

My husband just joined EAA. I saw the quilt blocks! We will be going back to Oshkosh for sure...
