I made these over the week, a rather project, however they do take long than one would expect. ;)

I hate to admit that the first one I made I cut the zipper to fit and then un-zipper the pull right off... Now I only cut when unit is completely sewn...I was able somehow to feed the pull back on thank goodness.. ;)

Your pouches look terrific. Would you believe I have 6 cut out and they have waiting on my sewing table for 2 weeks. Thanks for the inspiration to get going.

Flash drives are a great idea for these! I would like one for my ear buds! Would love to know if there is a pattern also. Love your sun fabric!

I have all kinds of odd size zippers -- this is a perfect use for them! I think all the grandkids will got one of these to put on their backpacks! Thanks for sharing.

Nammie that is exactly what I did...I had some Coats and Clarks dress zippers - the kind that did not open at the top - they also came in little plastic containers. It was good to use them, I always knew I would some day :). Glad you will be able to use yours too.
