This quilt was only my second attempt at a large size quilt. I'd just finished my DS John Deere quilt (queen) and decided to do one for me. I've improved since then (trial and error?). But this is still a comfy quilt to use while watching TV.

That looks like a fabulously comfy quilt. I really like the colors too. Sometimes, the ones you think haven't turned out so great are some of your favorites. I, literally, spent about 10 minutes just grabbing fat quarters that were on sale and guessing at the colors I needed to make a Turning Twenty quilt. It goes with the room I meant for it to be in and I just love it. It was fast and easy. I used flannel for the backing and did some practicing with my longarm. I was afraid it was going to be a mess but it's not.

Ooohhhh...right up my alley with the colors...I looks just great to me, why I'd be proud to say that was my "any number attempt" at quilting. It just looks like you need to snuggle under it!

Very pretty. So soft and well-balanced.

Very nice! It looks comfy and love the soft colors. About the "trial and error?" comment, so true, I find I learn something new with every quilt I make.

MadQuilter 05-24-2009 11:01 AM

Oops, got my threads mixed up. Good thing that only happens on the forum. lol

Sounds wonderful Jackie! But WHERE ARE THE PICTURES???? :?: My second quilt was a turning twenty design so I would love to see another one.
