Dang, must be some special family :) beautiful!
I sure hope that they appreciated those quilts, as you did a wonderful job on them, colorwise and quiltwise. That was quite task you set for yourself and you must be so proud that you hit the mark and these were not big block easy quilts either.

They are just lovely. Now I have a question. I can't help but wonder if they are like my sisters - arguing over "I like hers better" - "Why did SHE get the red/blue/green/fill in the blank one?"
you are a wonderful easter bunny...
Absolutely stunning. I am a fairly new quilter and was wondering what the name of the first and 4th patterns were. I would love to try them when I get a little better.
Thanks Peg |

Oh my... I can't even find words... they are SO beautiful! And you're so lucky to have such nice sisters-in-law who appreciate your quilts. (If I ever gave my SIL a quilt, I shudder to think where it would end up... she hates anything handmade. In other words, she has no taste!)
Gorgeous!!Lucky sisters.
Beautiful quilts...Hats off to you! I dunno if I could've/would've completed them on time!

All I can say is WOW!! GReat job. Can I be your husband's sister? lol
Oh, those are all gorgeous!! What lucky sisters you have. Will you adopt me?!?
Seriously fantastic; all of them!

I had to go back and see what order I posted them in. The first quilt is a free pattern on line. I will have to go and get the link. I don't have it off hand. The second is a twisted Bargello from the book, the twist and turn Bargello. I will confirm the name asi am not in my seeing room at the moment. The third is a triple Irish chain. I got the directions by searching Irish chain so yet another free one. The last one is a card trick. Which I pulled the block out if one of my big books of blocks and did the design myself. The small ones are 6" and then of course the large is 12.
I will verify all the I to and see if I can find links for those interested in doing them. Thank you everyone. There is always room for more family. The trick being getting time enough to come for a visit. |
Holy Connoli, it would have taken me years to complete the quilts you made. They are beautiful. I wish I was one of the sisters.
