Here is what i did this weekend.
Hubby is busy planting 100 blueberry bushes which means..lots of time to sew!
The Bunny--started out to be a table "runner" but ended up a topper...not sure how i ended up in that direction..but its cute..i wanted to try some applique.

The horsey fabric is something i found deep down in my to-do pile. i didnt want to cut it up..so featured it whole in the center!

Cute projects. You did a great job on both. I wouldn't have been able to cut up the horse fabric either.

Cute. Time to sew now, but with 100 blueberry plants, sounds like you might not have time later. We love blueberries. Last Summer we realized they are green inside. MMMMM.

100 blueberry bushes! He will have a gold mine. Have you looked at the price of blueberries lately in the grocery store--$3.98--4.98 per carton! We froze all of ours last year. The are great for waffles, pancakes, muffins, cereal. My family loves them. We also have figs. I put a ton of those in the freezer last year and my husband is still eating them. I freeze individually on a tray and the put them in zip lock bags and they keep very well...
Oh, I love you horse quilt. I have one 27 yr. old mare...
