These are the easy pinwheels using the charm pack where you place the dark and the light colored charms right sides together and sew all the way around and then cut twice on the diagonal
and you get your half square triangles.
I'm not too happy with the way my camera took these photos, some of the green's look too bright. These are reversable placemats for my Sister for christmas. ( I'm starting my gift's earlier this year.
Thankyou for looking, Brenda

Those are awesome! I think you are inspiring me to finish up the craft room organization (I promised to do that before I go back in there to sew) and make some placemats! Those are fantastic!

Thanks for the pictures; they're very pretty. I just recently read about that method of making pinwheels and will be trying it soon. I have your mitten fabric and liked seeing it in combination with others. Really nice job.

Don't you just love this easy way to make pinwheels??? I watched the tutorial from MSQC and couldn't believe how easy it was !

These turned out great and she'll love them. Can I be on your Christmas list, too??

I love this way, they turn out perfect, I too am making a quilt using this method and putting sunflower on striped fabric blocks between. I should have it finished by next Friday and will post pictures of it then.

Oh Brenda I love those placemats!! I just learned that technique for making half square triangles, and I am in LOVE with it!!! I hate making HSTs, but these just are so simple and come out so exact!!

Do you have a size chart - what size squares to start with to end up with specific size HSTs? I have been looking for one, but can't find it...probably Googling wrong. Thanks!!
