Did you sew the sashing strips on like the tutorial stated by sashing the blocks one by one? Our quilt guild makes quilts for veterans and this would be lovely in red white and blue. Thanks to Jeanne S. for the wonderful tutorial ! :)

I enjoy the challenge of an intricate quilt pattern, but something that is squares and rectangles and can be put together in a weekend are especially enjoyable.
