Here's one I just finished for my husband's youngest cousin's baby. The baby's room was done in lime green (gender neutral!) so I added lots of pink to girly it up!
I embroidered the butterflies after the top was done. I liked doing it that way. Didn't have to hoop a lot of fabric that was going to be cut off afterwards! |

Machine embroidered... Would take me moths to hand embroider! I am saving that for my own grandchildren!
