I just finished the blocks and layed them out...still pinned ...
and like the size but wondered if a simple pink binding would work instead of any boarders?? I like size and really not sure I want it much bigger..I will do a feather stitch on all the seams...not sure if it will b e pink or green yet...
well anyway...what do you think about border or no border??

Audition fabrics by laying your pinned blocks on top of fabric and see if you like them with a border or not. You can lay out a strip of the binding fabric at the same time to see what they would look like with border and binding. Be sure and stand back when you look at them blocks on the auditioned fabric. Your blocks are beautiful.

I think a green or brown sashing would be best. Brown because it's the color of dirt and the flower baskets or green, which is the color of foliage.

If you do a pink sashing, your quilt will read pink, if you do a color associated with all flowers, the blocks will show up better.

This is just one person's opinion, you have to make your own decision!

I think a narrow black border around each block would really frame them!
I would also consider setting them on point, so the baskets are going all in one direction. Lovely work!!
