What kind of computerized quilting machine are you using? In addition, do you change the format (pes, exp, jef,) to name a few?

Another question, how does the quilting machine deal with the jump stitches?

You can see I am very interested in this technique and would love to try this on a future quilt.

This is an Innova machine with an optional Grand Format Embroidery unit attached to it. The machine quilts with a PAT format, but then uses DST format for the embroidery designs.

Great job. I’m just adding embroidery to my labels.

Wow, how cool is that! Is the reverse side pretty too on the finished quilt?

Yes, the back is as pretty as the front! I can change bobbins to match the colors on the front, or just use one bobbin color and it resembles redwork.

Is this with an innova la? I see there is an update for the computer and I haven't done it yet?

Yes, it is an update to Mach 3 software, plus you would have to purchase the Grand Format Embroidery unit for the hardware.

What a lovely embroidery addition to your quilt...I imagine the embroidery options are endless and that you are now on the road to new ideas. Keep us posted.

We have a new Innova dealer in Maine and hear those who have them, love them.
