English Bulldog, my second cutwork effort!

For a comfort quilt for my niece, this represents her very special pet, an English Bulldog.

Very nice! Will make a nice quilt! You could even quilt

it always amazes me when I see this type of quilt. it plays with the negative space so well.
I look at these with wonderment. how do you do it???

lynnie, I am learning this fun technique from a book on CD written by our very own grammatjr. You can go to her blog here on the QB and find a tutorial and also buy the book.
It is not nearly as hard as it looks, even tho it took me a while to get up the nerve to try it for the first time. Trudy (grammatjr) is also very helpful if you have questions or are just timid, like I was. She will help all she can.
