European sham pillows

I made a quilt for my wedding this past may, and had grand intentions of making matching pillows. Took me a bit longer than originally planned, but they are done! They look HUGE on our bed, but eh, they are still pretty :)

Make 2 or 3 smaller rolled pillows and the larger ones won't look so large.
|
I love your quilt and your pillows! You did a great job on all!

Your quilt & pillows are lovely.

Yummy colors..love how the taupe works with the peach and aqua. Pattern works great as a pillow and I agree perhaps a few smaller ones will make it work for you. :)

I was just catching up on some older posts and I came across your beautiful wedding quilt and pillows. Can you tell me the name of the pattern. Most people would be stressed just taking care of the wedding plans but you did that and made a quilt! I'm impressed!

The quilt and pillows look great. You did a wonderful job on them.
|
really sweet, why don't you make proper pillow cases and but extra sleeping pillows?
|
Beautiful pillows to go with that gorgeous quilt!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I definitely do! The pattern is called Cottage Stars by Terri Staats. It's very simple- just a log cabin block cut into quarters and sashing inserted. |
Thanks Tanisha!
