They look fantastic, however, there's a little voice inside me that thinks those strips could go in a quilt:). Maybe I could sacrifice some poly blends and not feel guilty:) - Thanks for the link.

Someone on the board made a rug and it was great. I would like to know if the rug could have been washed. Never did find out. I do have that book. They have a second book out now that I haven't bought.

I wouldn't see why you couldn't wash it...just can't put it in the dryer. Line dry or lay it over a lawn chair outside...
The second book is even better than the first!

Yes, you can wash the rugs. I've made 10 or 12 of them and they wash up nice. I lay them in the sun to dry...no dryer. If they're too big, you may have a problem getting them in the washer.
