I'm certain that I am the last to stop and make one of these but I had to ask myself one question: Why did I wait??? This is fantastic for ironing prewashed fabrie ! :D

my husband made one for me. I love it for ironing all that yardage.
Mine isn't as pretty as yours though.

I just made myself one last week after seeing a tutorial on here!! Love it!!!

custompolz 01-26-2011 07:46 PM

I'm not one of the ladies ... but the tutorial here is as good as any.

I just ironed more fabric, in a shorter time, than ever before. Well worth the time and little money to put together - what convenience not to have to fight with the narrow end of the ironing board and the added width is wonderful

Awesome...will be doing one of these. Thanks for sharing & linking the tute!!

I did a search for "pressing board" on here and a few different tutorials came up!! It's real inexpensive to make....between Lowes, Goodwill, and my toolbox...I made one for about $10.

Me too ... I have a friend that made one out of an unused TV tray and she puts it in the closet when not in use ... I am going to do the same. Should be great for pressing blocks next to the machine.

Yes, someone here used a wooden TV tray and covered it appropriately and keeps it near her machine. Sounds like a great idea.
