The corners are great for putting little things in, like your thimble, small scissors, etc. (depending on size of box, of course).

I feel like i',m the only one not doing these. the quilting adds to them. very pretty

Super box. Did you put anything in the bottom of the box to make it solid, or is that accomplished by the quilting? What size was the starting square? What size did the box end up? Do you know how to figure out what size square to start with when you want a large box? Thanks for any help. BrendaK

Love your fabric box.

I like your corners--may try mine like that next time. I had done mine like that only on the outside of the box.

Lovely baskets!

I watched my friends 9 year old daughter this past weekend. She made a basket and was thrilled! She used decorative stitching which is always fun for kids.
Whoever found this site to start with ---- THANKS!

I started with 10" squares and I used batting. Its the tan thin stuff, is it warm and natural?? Start with a 12" square and if that isn't big enough go to 14".

Another person posted the link of the blog for this. I'm sorry I don't remember who it was and can't figure out bookmarking.

I love the set. How much difference in the size for each nesting box? One or two inches? or more?

twinkie 10-14-2013 06:53 AM

You have done a great job. I love these.

cpcarolyn 10-14-2013 07:13 AM

Pretty boxes.

zkosh 10-14-2013 08:58 AM

The boxes are so cute, but I am wondering about size. Are they very small when you finish? Are you filling them to give as a gift or would they work one their own?

I clicked on the blog link and my virus program told me it was an unsafe site. I got out quickly.
