Thank you for sharing the pictures of your quilt. It is lovely.
You have impired me to make one quilt using repo '30s fabrics. I'm one of those who grew up using quilts made from this type of fabrics, so have not been interested in using them in any of my quilts...until now. This quilt looks just like it could have been made by my mom or my granny. Since I don't have a quilt which was made by either of them, I will make one like this and pretend to myself that they made it together just for me. :-) |

I used to have a Sunbonnet Sue quilt when I was a little girl and was fascinated by the little dolls sewn onto the quilt. Ever since then I have just always loved reproduction fabrics! I no longer have the quilt from my childhood, but have fond memories of it.

oneygirl, this is beautiful.
Did you have a lot of seams to deal with? How did you do it? I have a lot of scraps and some are only 1 1/2 " wide. Thanx for the pics. And ideas.
