love the combo, looks great together. if you are looking for easy pattern maybe a pinwheel or nine patch. i have a magazine that had a deer quilt in it. if you would like it pm me and i can mail it to you monday.

I would also suggest maybe getting some hunter green fabric that matches. there could also be some larger blocks of just the deer with the pine cones and brown surrounding it. kinda like a mutated log cabin.
