I have often wondered how a stripe would work for OBW. Yours is wonderul!
|
Lookin' Good!!! Totally different look than original fabric. You have a good eye for picking out a winner!

I learn every day and on this site for sure. I would not have had the ability to see those blocks from that fabric. I just need to become more daring. Good job!

I think the black blackground really brings out the OBW blocks. Here is a small picture of one that I made using purple flower fabric.
I just love the contrast. Your blocks are really beautiful no matter how you lay them out. I think it was great for you to see this material (and picture it in your mind) as a OBW from the very beginning. That is a real talent. |
Looks so different when they are made up and I want to get one made one of these days. Good job.

That is beauriful!

Amazing what you made out of that material. Creative thinking at its best.

wow-OBW always amaze me ,its gonna be great

I would never have thought of that fabric for a quilt, because while I love the colors, I don't love the stripes. I have never made a OBW, so wouldn't have known just how pretty it could be. You are turning that fabric into a beautiful and unique quilt. I love it! Please post a picture when you are finished.

Looking good so far!
