I like it! It's similar colors to a new batik bundle called Honeysuckle from Hoffman. Wedding Rings are so nice. Please post when you are through so we can all admire it! :)

Not my colors but the look very good together, and yes have that SW look anf feel.
Looking forward to the finished top |
Turquoise and leather...that hits the nail on the head!
While I wouldn't have picked it, it really REALLY goes well together. Please keep us posted on the progress, I have a feeling this one will be a winner! |
somewhere, someone posted a quilt of the golden gate bridge where she used some terrific copper colored wire/thread for the suspension - I've got to say that it would be cool if you could use it on this quilt too!
I LOVE the colors - turquoise just makes most quilts sing! That is going to be a stunning quilt when it's done. Can't wait to see the photo. I'll try to find the bridge quilt and send you a link... |
I really like the fabrics. It will have a southwest look to me and with the copper very rich look! Please post when you are finished!

Wow! I think it'll be a fabulous quilt! Can't wait to see progress :)

I think they go good together and should make a beautiful quilt.

Yep - works really well together. Love to see the finished article.

I lilke those colors...I made a French Braid with teal and brick red. Some people like it a lot, others not so much. It's OK...not everyone will agree.

Thanks everyone for the thumbs up! I've got several of the arcs made and a couple put on the "melon" piece and it really looks nice. I'll take a pic as soon as I get a little more done. As soon as I get a ring or two done, I'm going to call the mom and have her come look at it before I continue. If she doesn't like any of the fabrics, I'll take them out (as long as it's just one or two!)
