Fabulous Fish Art Quilt
4 Attachment(s)
I took an excellent and fun workshop last weekend from Margaret Jessop in Calgary, AB, Canada. She was the "Quilter of Distinction" at Heritage Park's Festival of Quilts in Calgary last spring. Her art quilts are wonderful. This workshop was hosted by the Alberta Quilt Study Society. Here are some photos of the fish that I made at her workshop. I am working on the FMQ now.

Oh WOW that is certainly stunning work.

Oh WOW! That is super cool. It's turning out really well :-)

Art quilts are not usually to my tastes, but this is really nice. I think you did a great job on it! I really like it.

Really spectacular!

I absolutely love that background, and those fish lips are a hoot!!!!!
|
Great job on the fish.

Oh wow! I've never seen this kind of work before. I noticed someone else had posted some sewing machines done like this. Interesting technique. The fish are beautiful! You did a great job.

This is a beautiful technique. Unlike anything I have seen before. Great job.

Fun wall hanging. I have no sense of artistry like this-my I.Q equivalent is stick figures! However, I love the work of others on art quilts. Very beautiful.
