Fairy Quilt for Baby June
 

[ATTACH=CONFIG]539563[/ATTACH]This is a quilt I have made for a neighbours first grandchild. The fabric is by Michael Miller from his "Flower Faries Series".

We have been having some very hot weather in Melbourne, and on Christmas Day there were very serious bushfires, the fires are still burning, many homes have been lost, so to calm my nerves I turned on the airconditioner closed up the house and made this quilt.

So sorry for all the fires. Many here in the USA have experienced fires and other types of disasters: drought, flooding, tornadoes, etc. Your quilt is cute and will be appreciated, I am sure.

You did a very nice job with these fabric. We have the same problem here in California. Now the rains are too heavy and there are mud slides. So very sad.

What would we do without air conditioning in hot weather. I hadn't heard about the fires, I hope you keep safe. Our daughter lives in Sydney with her new husband, but apparently he doesn't like air conditioning, much to Kari's chagrin. She's managing though, as the other night she called and didn't gritch about the heat.
