Fall Leaves Table Runner

This is my first applique project and I think I may have to do more! I loved playing with the batiks and had fun with the machine stitching around the leaves and acorns. I did stippling on my domestic machine around the leaves. Did have some tension problems, but otherwise OK.

Beautiful!! I love those rich fall colors!! I was also addicted to appliqué after my first one!! I love blanket stitching by hand with a couple strands of embroidery floss instead of thread. Great job with yours!!

Love the runner. I love the look of applique, but it's not my favorite thing to do. That being said, I am getting a 12 block calendar quilt ready to start after the holidays. I figure when it's finished I will either love it or REALLY hate it!
