Fall table topper

1 Attachment(s)
I took a class at the Vermont Quilt Festival this summer and learned how to use the Quick Curve Ruler (QCR) by Sew Kind of Wonderful. The result is this small quilt which can be a wallhanging or a table topper in fall colors.

Your quilt is very nice. Don't you love learning something new like this and then see the results! very nicely made.

Beautiful!!! I've got that ruler but not made anything but the wedding ring quilt pattern so far. a tad bit of fabric waste with those directions. this looks sooo nice!!

Very pretty quilt!

really pretty! I have the larger quick curve ruler and haven't used it other than to help with our guild opportunity quilt--I thought it was a little hard to use--but then I switched rotary cutters to a 28mm and that sure helped. So my question is did you cut those "FG" as 2 sides and pieced in the middle or did you do like a "normal" FG?

You cut two halves and piece them in the middle. Think Drunkard's Path pieces sewn together and then cut wonky.

Looks like a fun project...love the pop of fall colors in your table topper. Great finish.

Nice job! Love that it is a whimsical take on the traditional flying geese. I also love how you quilted the gray spaces with the vertical grid. Makes it look really modern.
