Just took a look at my stash and I have that same pumpkin fabric that I am making a table runner with also. But nothing like yours.

That is a great idea... better than trying to have a glass piece the size of the table to put over it... which is what I have seen before...

I haven't yet decided if I will do this for my Thanksgiving table, but I use quilts everyday as tablecloths and put a clear vinyl cover over them. They look beautiful underneath and keep the quilt clean. You might want to try this so your table can stay beautiful while you eat.
