Congrats on learning free motion! I am intrigued by your border. Any hints for us quilters trying to do this?

Oh! That is so beautiful I'm speechless! I don't know how you ever do this. Unbelieveable!

Truly awesome work. After posting, I read some of other comments and realized "awesome" truly is the right word!

That is beautiful. Did you heat set the crayon coloring after the quilt was finished?

I actually heat set the crayon work before I stippled the background. Once it was completely done, I dunked it in lukewarm water and laid it out to dry after blocking it a bit.

Awesome job! How did you get to the point that you could do such beautiful work?

A LOT of practicing!!! I love sewing clothes too and by the time I was a junior in high school I had gotten quite good, easy A's in class, but , oh my goodness, you should have seen the clothes I made in junior high, makes me laugh now. But I never gave up, just kept sewing!!! Thanks for the kind words!! martha

Thank you CarrieC, I love your quote!! I think I must have a minimum of 8 seam rippers. I like to purchase them so that they can be found in every nook and corner in the house as I do use them often!!!
